Perched on the Eburu Escarpment, overlooking
Lake Naivasha and the world’s largest
valley, the Great Rift Valley Lodge & Golf
Resort enjoys one of the most spectacular views
in all of Africa. The Lodge is just one-and-a-half
hours’ drive from Nairobi – or a
30-minute flight to its own airstrip.
As well as Kenya’s newest and most stunning
championship golf course, the lodge offers exciting
walking and horse-riding safaris in the Eburu
forests, and ‘trips back in time’
along a string of volcanic lakes that are home
to world’s most prolific and diverse birdlife.
The Lodge comprises 30 twin and double en-suite
rooms, each with its own balcony. The rooms
all have large four-poster beds. There are two
bars and a lounge with fireplace and satellite
TV, three conference rooms with seating up to
58 people.
The 6,580-yard championship golf course is
one of Kenya’s best and there is fine
dining on the panoramic clubhouse terrace. There’s
also a driving range and two clay tennis courts
and a freeform swimming pool. Game and walks
with experienced naturalists, boating, sailing
and bass fishing on Lake Naivasha, horse riding
and mountain biking in the grounds are also
offered.
